I had a friend called me recently because he brought his Nissan in 2007 for a 90k car service (90,000 mile service). Most of these services are the biggest fraud I have ever been outside the (yeah sorry). As a mechanic I absolutely loved it flat (back in the day). My friend paid through the nose for shit, he knew, soon after, and at least reduced the BS up-sells.
Thirty thousand mile service is a glorified oil change with tire rotation. I used to charge to do three or four hours to a 30k service (Made heights h 1). Oh, sure a bunch of stuff, stuff, not to review the inspection. 30k before we had the original 100,000 miles fluid and spark plugs, you really had a lot of work to do.
Here’s the deal! You go to an oil change every 3000 miles and an oil change and tire rotation every 6000 miles or more. If you repair such as brakes need work or before they are noticed. They crawl all over your car in search of an up-sell, you must not for routine inspections that pay for all these services, routine inspections. Most stores give you a free complimentary 16-point inspection with oil change.
I recommend getting your oil change and tire rotation with “certified mechanics”, not the blink of an eye, or as soon as the. Whether to repair the car or home in your own car, they are “boys”, they give the job easy. do not let car under nominal working on your car. the participation rate does not change the person that ask for your car so you have a certified mechanic (you already pay for it).
